Mid-Autumn 2026 at ANOVA: Full-Campus Team Building
On 23 September 2026, ahead of the Mid-Autumn public holiday, the ANOVA Lighting campus in Foshan turned into a festival ground. The company's full staff gathered for an all-day Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, organized end to end by an internal event committee, and the evening closed a little after 21:00 with the whole-company group photo.

Four Games, Seven Teams, One Afternoon
The company split into seven teams named after figures from Chinese mythology and classic literature — Team Nezha, Team White Dragon, Team Journey to the West and four more — and the competition ran all afternoon across four garden games.
The ring toss opened the scoring. The bottle-standing challenge followed, a head-to-head contest decided over three cumulative rounds. Then came the centerpiece: lantern-making. Each team had 15 minutes to build one Mid-Autumn-themed lantern, then 15 more minutes to present it to the judges.
The fourth game tested brains rather than hands. Each team drew 20 prepared lantern riddles and wrote 10 of its own. The riddle cards hung beneath each team's lantern, and rival teams walked from lantern to lantern trying to solve them. One rule kept the contest honest: looking up answers on smart devices was prohibited, and order monitors enforced it.
Run by the Staff, for the Staff
No outside agency ran this event. Staff volunteers operated every station — game officers, timekeepers, scorekeepers, order monitors, emcees and transition guides. An admin team handled materials, prizes and catering, and a photographer documented the day.
The event was opened by the company's founder, who also declared the garden-party segment under way. The self-organization on display is not an accident. It mirrors how our engineering and ODM project teams work with buyers every day: clear roles, clear timing and clear ownership of each stage.
Dinner, Gala and an Employee Birthday
The afternoon flowed into a catered group dinner in the main hall, where team leads stood to toast their crews.
The evening gala raised the energy further: a choral performance of the company's own anthem, a comedy talk-show act about the origins of Mid-Autumn, and four more song and dance acts — every performance scored by a panel of judges. Mid-programme, the whole company paused for an employee birthday celebration, with the founder presenting the birthday gift — a warm pause in a busy programme. A six-round lucky draw kept the hall buzzing between acts.
The team championship came down to cumulative points across the four games, the performances and hosting duty. Champion, runner-up and third place were crowned before the whole-company group photo, and the evening closed a little after 21:00.
Back to Work After the Mid-Autumn Break
Our celebration took place on 23 September 2026, and the Mid-Autumn public holiday ran from 25 to 27 September. Our offices are open again today, 28 September, and the team is now supporting current enquiries, samples and production planning.
